Sixpence None the Richer is an American contemporary Christian music pop/rock band formed in 1992 in Texas. The band is centered on Matt Slocom (guitar, composition) and Ray Nash (vocals) and employs session members. Sixpence is also C.S. Inspired by Lewis's work, the band was named.

Ray Nash released his solo album, "The Fatherless and the Widow" in 1994 and "Divine Discretion" in 2002. He then returned to his Christmas carol album "The Dawn of Grace" in 2008, and released "Lost in Transition" in 2012.

Sixpence Nun the Reacher is a CCM band whose lyrics are mostly composed of such content. The melody of each album is beautiful, and features a comfortable and calm tone of vocalist Ray Nash.

Although the band is not popular because it is basically a CCM band, it gained considerable popularity when its single "Kiss Me" released in 1998 was used in the credits of the romantic comedy "She's All That".
