이문세는 대한민국의 대중음악가로, 1959년 2월 24일에 서울특별시에서 태어났습니다. 그는 1978년 CBS 세븐틴 DJ로 데뷔하여 라디오 DJ로 활동을 시작했습니다. 초기부터 입담이 뛰어나며 통기타 포크 팝 음악 분야에서 활약하였으며, 1980년대에는 팝 발라드 음악계로 진출하게 되었습니다.

1983년에는 "나는 행복한 사람"이라는 곡으로 발라드 가수로서의 활동을 시작하였고, 1984년에는 2집 앨범 "파랑새"를 발표하여 인지도를 쌓아갔습니다. 그러나 그의 진정한 성공은 1985년 작곡가 이영훈과 만나게 되면서 시작되었습니다. 이영훈과의 협업으로 탄생한 "난 아직 모르잖아요"는 폭발적인 인기를 얻어 해당 해에 방송 음악 순위 1위에 올랐으며 이 문제로 인해 이문세는 인기 가수의 대열에 올라섰습니다. 이후 이문세-이영훈 콤비는 80년대 한국 가요계에 팝 발라드의 흐름을 선도하였습니다.

1987년에 발표한 4집 앨범의 수록곡들이 대중에게 큰 사랑을 받아 높은 판매량을 기록하여, 발라드 가수로서의 인기를 다시 확인하였습니다. 1993년에는 오랜 동안 협업한 이영훈과의 결별로부터 시작하여 자신만의 독자적인 음악적 세계를 탐구하였으며, 이를 통해 더욱 깊이 있는 음악 활동을 이어나갔습니다.

Lee Mun-se is a South Korean pop musician who was born in Seoul on February 24, 1959. He debuted as a CBS SEVENTEEN DJ in 1978 and began his career as a radio DJ. From the beginning, he was a good speaker and active in the field of acoustic guitar folk pop music, and in the 1980s, he entered the world of pop ballad music.

In 1983, he began his career as a ballad singer with the song "I'm a Happy Person" and in 1984, he released his second album "Bluebird" to gain recognition. However, his true success began in 1985 when he met composer Lee Young-hoon. Born in collaboration with Lee Young-hoon, "I Don't Know Yet" gained explosive popularity and topped the broadcast music charts that year, and due to this problem, Lee Moon-se became a popular singer. Since then, Lee Moon-se and Lee Young-hoon have led the trend of pop ballads in the Korean music industry in the 80s.

The songs from the fourth album released in 1987 were loved by the public and recorded high sales, reaffirming their popularity as a ballad singer. In 1993, he began to break up with Lee Young-hoon, who he had collaborated with for a long time, and explored his own musical world, and continued his in-depth music activities through this.

In the 1990s, Lee Mun-se's popularity declined due to changes in the Korean music industry and changes in popular genres.
