김범룡(金範龍)은 대한민국의 발라드 싱어송라이터로, 1959년 7월 8일에 태어났습니다. 1982년 연포가요제에서 보컬 듀오 빈 수레의 보컬리스트로 데뷔하였으며, 자작곡인 "인연"으로 우수상을 수상하였습니다. 이후 1985년에는 개인 음반 1집에 수록된 "바람 바람 바람"으로 솔로 가수로도 데뷔하며 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 1985년에는 KBS 가요대상 신인가수상을 수상하였고, 1986년에는 MBC와 KBS에서 10대 가수상을 수상했습니다.

김범룡은 음악 활동 외에도 영화배우와 뮤지컬배우로도 잠시 활동한 적이 있습니다. 그러나 1995년에는 히로뽕과 대마초를 흡입한 혐의로 구속되었고, 이로 인해 KBS 방송출연이 무기한 금지되기도 했습니다. 그러나 1999년 3월 12일에는 MBC의 에 출연하여 TV 복귀를 하였습니다.

김범룡은 서울용강초등학교, 수도중학교, 여의도고등학교를 졸업한 후, 충북대학교에서 서양화과를 전공하였습니다.

그 외에도 김범룡은 다양한 방송에 출연한 경력이 있습니다. 2019년에는 KBS1의 "TV는 사랑을 싣고"에, 2020년에는 KBS1의 "아침마당", KBS2의 "불후의 명곡: 전설을 노래하다", "2TV 생생정보"에, 그리고 MBC의 "미스터리 음악쇼 복면가왕"에 매실로 참가한 경력이 있습니다. 또한 2020년에는 KBS2의 "트롯 전국체전"에도 출연하였으며, 2022년에는 MBC의 "생방송 행복드림 로또 6/45"에 게스트로 출연한 적이 있습니다.

Kim Beom-ryong (金範龍), born on July 8, 1959, is a South Korean ballad singer-songwriter. He made his debut in 1982 as the vocalist of the vocal duo Bin Sule and received an Outstanding Award at the Yeonpo Gayo Festival for his self-composed song "Inyeon." In 1985, he made his solo debut with his self-composed song "Baram Baram Baram" included in his first solo album, which gained significant popularity. He received the New Artist Award at the 1985 KBS Gayo Daesang and the Top 10 Singer Award from MBC and KBS in 1986.

Apart from his music career, Kim Beom-ryong briefly ventured into acting in films and musicals. However, in 1995, he was arrested on charges of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics, including the use of methamphetamine and marijuana. This led to an indefinite ban on his appearances on KBS broadcasts. Nevertheless, he made a comeback on TV by appearing on MBC's "Gayo Concert" on March 12, 1999.

Kim Beom-ryong completed his education at Seoul Yonggang Elementary School, Sudo Middle School, and Yeouido High School. He pursued a major in Western Painting at Chungbuk University.

In addition to his music career, Kim Beom-ryong has appeared in various television programs. In 2019, he appeared on KBS1's "TV Carries Love," and in 2020, he participated in programs such as KBS1's "Morning Yard," KBS2's "Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend," "2TV Live Info," and MBC's "Mystery Music Show: Masked Singer" as the contestant "Maesil." He also competed in KBS2's "Trot Nationwide Competition" in 2020 and appeared as a guest on MBC's "Live Happy Dream Lotto 6/45" in 2022.
