쏜애플(Thornapple)은 대한민국의 4인조 록 밴드로, 주로 사이키델릭 록을 연주합니다. 2009년에는 밴드 '가시사과'라는 이름으로 데뷔하여, 초반에는 주로 홍대 부근에서 공연을 하며 이름을 알리기 시작했습니다. 2010년에는 밴드 이름을 '쏜애플'로 변경하고, 같은 해 7월에 첫 정규 앨범인 '난 자꾸 말을 더듬고 잠드는 법도 잊었네'를 발매했습니다. 그러나 앨범 발매 직후 윤성현과 심재현의 군 입대로 인해 2년여 동안 공백기를 가졌으나, 2012년 12월에 복귀하고 2013년에는 해피로봇 레코드와 전속 계약을 맺고 본격적인 활동을 시작했습니다. 이후 1년 뒤인 2014년에 두 번째 정규 앨범인 '이상기후'를 발매하였습니다. 2016년에는 5곡이 수록된 EP 앨범 '서울병'을 발매하고, 공연 활동을 이어나갔습니다. 2019년에는 정규 3집 앨범인 '계몽'을 발매하였으며, 2021년에는 새 EP 앨범을 준비하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

쏜애플(Thornapple)은 독특한 감성의 가사와 몽환적인 사운드를 지닌 밴드로, 2010년 데뷔 앨범인 '난 자꾸 말을 더듬고 잠드는 법도 잊었네'를 발매하여 초판이 절판되는 성공을 거두었습니다. 2013년에 군 제대 후 본격적인 활동을 재개한 이후, 2014년에는 두 번째 정규 앨범 '이상기후'를 발표하며 많은 관심을 받았습니다. 이후 해외 축제인 'SUMMER SONIC 2015 in TOKYO'와 'Melody of Life 2015 in Tailand' 등에 참여하고 국내 페스티벌에서 활발한 활동을 펼쳤습니다.

2016년에는 EP 앨범 '서울병'을 발표하여 초도 주문량 수천 장을 매진시켰습니다.

Thornapple is a South Korean four-member rock band that mainly plays psychedelic rock. In 2009, he debuted under the name of the band "Thorn Apple," and in the beginning, he began to make his name known by performing mainly near Hongdae. In 2010, the band changed its name to "Son Apple " and in July of the same year released its first full - length album, " I keep stuttering and forgetting how to fall asleep ". However, shortly after the album's release, Yoon Sung-hyun and Shim Jae-hyun had a two-year hiatus due to their military enlistment, but they returned in December 2012 and signed an exclusive contract with Happy Robot Records in 2013 to start their full-fledged activities. A year later, in 2014, he released his second full-length album, "Lee Sang Gifu". In 2016, he released an EP album "Seoul Disease" containing five songs and continued his performance. In 2019, he released his third full-length album, "Enlightenment," and in 2021, he said he is preparing a new EP album.

Thornapple is a band with unique emotional lyrics and dreamy sounds, and it was successful that the first edition was out of print by releasing its debut album, "I keep stuttering and forgetting how to fall asleep," in 2010. Since resuming full-fledged activities after being discharged from the military in 2013, he has received a lot of attention by releasing his second full-length album "Ideal Climate" in 2014. Since then, he has participated in overseas festivals such as "SUMMER SONIC 2015 in TOKYO" and "Melody of Life 2015 in Thailand" and has been active in domestic festivals.

In 2016, he released his EP album "Seoul Bottle" and sold out thousands of initial orders.
