카디(KARDI)는 부산세계박람회 2030 유치 홍보영상에 자작곡 'City of Wonder'로 참여하였으며, 드라마 '불가살' OST '터널'과 골든디스크어워즈 오프닝 무대 등에서도 독보적인 색깔을 보여주며 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있습니다. 2022년 9월 25일에는 4곡이 수록된 EP '칠(Chil)'을 발매하였고, 두 번의 단독 콘서트를 매진시키기도 했습니다.

'칠(Chil)'은 한국의 전통악기인 거문고를 함께 사용하여 카디의 정체성을 찾기 위한 고민과 노력을 담고 있는 미니앨범입니다. 이 앨범은 총 4곡으로 구성되어 있으며, 각 트랙마다 EDM, R&B, 록, 힙합 등 다양한 장르의 음악을 선보입니다. 카디의 프론트맨이자 보컬 김예지의 독특한 음색과 가창력이 이 앨범을 하나의 완전한 작품으로 만들어냈습니다.

KARDI is a South Korean mixed band formed by JTBC Super Band 2 in 2021 and won third place. The band has a unique combination of members, showing a unique color regardless of genre.

The team name 'KARDI' was created to contain Korean colors by changing the first letter from the prefix 'Cardi-', which means heart, to K. They want to make music that will make people's hearts beat.

KARDI participated in the promotional video of the Busan World Expo 2030 with his own song "City of Wonder" and continues to show unique colors in the drama "Tunnel" OST and the opening stage of the Golden Disc Awards. On September 25, 2022, he released an EP "Chil" containing four songs, and sold out two solo concerts.

"Chil" is a mini-album that contains thoughts and efforts to find Cardi's identity by using Geomungo, a traditional Korean instrument. The album consists of a total of four songs, and each track presents various genres of music, including EDM, R&B, rock, and hip hop. Cardi's frontman and vocalist Kim Ye-ji's unique tone and singing ability made the album a complete work.
