검정 치마는 2004년 뉴욕에서 펑크 록 트리오로 결성된 대한민국의 인디 록 밴드입니다. 이 밴드는 현재 한국계 미국인 싱어송라이터 조 홀리데이 한 명으로 구성되어 있습니다.
2008년 11월 13일 첫 정규 앨범 "201"을 발매하며 한국에서의 공식 활동을 시작했습니다. 이 앨범은 제7회 한국 대중음악상에서 '최우수 모던 록 앨범' 상을 수상했습니다. 2011년 7월 13일, 두 번째 정규 앨범 "Don't You Worry Baby (I'm Only Swimming)"을 발매.
그들의 3집 앨범을 준비하는 동안, 그 밴드는 계속해서 솔로 콘서트를 열었고 다양한 큰 축제에 참여했습니다. 블랙 스커트의 앨범은 현재까지 50,000장 이상 팔렸습니다. 그 밴드의 독특한 사운드와 스타일은 그들을 한국의 인디 록계에서 헌신적인 추종자로 만들었습니다.

 

The Black Skirts is a South Korean indie rock band that was initially formed as a punk rock trio in New York in 2004. The band currently consists of only one member, the Korean-American singer-songwriter Jo Holiday.
The band started their official activities in Korea with the release of their first studio album, "201", on November 13, 2008. The album won the 'Best Modern Rock Album' award at the 7th Korean Popular Music Awards. The band released their second studio album, "Don't You Worry Baby (I'm Only Swimming)", on July 13, 2011.
While preparing for their third album, the band continued to perform solo concerts and participate in various big festivals. The Black Skirts' albums have sold over 50,000 copies to date. The band's unique sound and style have garnered them a dedicated following in Korea's indie rock scene.

"Did I do something wrong" indicates concern and sorry that you may be the cause of the other person's change. The following "Do you feel sorry for me?" contains the helplessness of a lover with this heart. Lastly, "I think this moment will be our last" is a lyric that contains an uneasy feeling that the relationship with the other person is now ending and the pain of parting.
