Soyoung is a female CCM singer from South Korea, who graduated from Inmyung Girls' High School and Kyung Hee University's French Language and Literature Department. She is known for her exceptional vocal range, capable of singing over four octaves, earning her the nickname "Korean Mariah Carey."

On March 20, 2010, Soyoung appeared on the SBS show "Star King" and showcased her incredible vocal abilities, which helped her gain recognition outside of the church. She is also a talented songwriter and writer, actively participating in the composition of her albums and publishing her own books in pursuit of her dreams.

Soyoung released a remake of "Wind's Song" as part of the OST for the KBS drama "Confession Couple" (Part 2). The song was originally written by lyricist Kim Soon-gon, composer Kim Jung-wook, and arranger Zigzag Note. It was reinterpreted to match the mood of the drama, and became a hit song.
