"이렇게도 사랑이 괴로울 줄 알았다면"이라는 가사는 사랑이 얼마나 아픈 것인지에 대한 깨달음과 고민을 담고 있습니다. 여기서 "이렇게도"는 예상치 못한 정도로, "사랑이 괴로울 줄 알았다면"은 사랑이 그렇게 힘들 수 있다는 사실에 대한 충격을 나타냅니다.

"차라리 당신만을 만나지나 말 겄을"이라는 구절은 과거에 그 사람만을 만났다면 더 나은 선택이 되지 않았을까 하는 후회와 아쉬움을 표현하고 있습니다. "차라리"는 조금 더 나은 선택을 나타내며, "말 겄을"은 어떻게 하지 않았을까 하는 상상을 담고 있습니다.

Yoon Soo-il is a South Korean musician who successfully debuted in the music industry as a cotton candy group in 1977. His debut song "I Won't Just Love You" was an amazing achievement in late 1978 when he won the Best Popularity Award at the "MBC Teen Song Awards."
Since then, while working as a solo artist, he has been loved by many fans with a different trot taste than other trot singers from other groups. Starting with "I Won't Just Love," he gained high popularity by capturing the hearts of the public with hit songs such as "Legend," "Memories," "Nana," and "The Wanderer."
In November 1980, he organized Yoon Soo-il Band with Lee Kyu-moon, Lee Jin-soo, Oh Jun-yeol, and Lee Hee-young to take on new musical challenges. Through self-composed songs such as "Don't Leave" and "Second Hometown," he released various albums and hit songs from his second to fifth albums and received great love from his fans. His performance has played an important role in promoting rock music as popular music in the 1980s.
