이문세씨는 대중음악 분야에서 활약하시는 대한민국의 아티스트로, 1959년 2월 24일(음력 1월 17일)에 태어나셨습니다. 1978년에는 CBS 세븐틴 DJ로 라디오 DJ로 데뷔하셨으며, 입담이 뛰어나신 모습으로 주목을 받으셨습니다. 이후, 1980년대에는 통기타 포크 팝 분야에서 활동하다가, 1983년 발라드 가수로서의 정식 음악 활동을 시작하셨습니다. 이문세씨는 1985년 작곡가 이영훈과 함께한 `난 아직 모르잖아요`라는 곡으로 대중적인 성공을 거두셨으며, 이후 이문세-이영훈의 콤비는 80년대 가요계에서 팝발라드 물결을 일으켰습니다. 이문세씨는 또한 청소년을 주청취자로 하는 라디오 프로그램 《별이 빛나는 밤에》의 진행자로 수년간 활약하셨으며, 1990년대 초반에는 '밤의 교육부 장관'으로 불리기도 하셨습니다. 현재까지도 가수와 음악가로 활발하게 활동하시고 있습니다.

 

lee Moon-se is a South Korean artist who is active in the field of popular music. He was born on February 24, 1959 (lunar calendar: January 17). In 1978, he made his debut as a radio DJ for CBS Seventeen and gained attention for his excellent communication skills. In the 1980s, he worked in the folk-pop genre with his guitar before starting his official career as a ballad singer in 1983. Im achieved mainstream success with the song "I Don't Know Yet," which he co-wrote with composer Lee Young-hoon in 1985. The Im-Lee duo became known for creating pop ballads in the 1980s. Im also hosted the radio program "On a Starry Night," which was aimed at young listeners, for several years. In the early 1990s, he was even referred to as the "Minister of Education at Night." He is still active as a singer and musician to this day.
