The Walters is an American alternative/indie pop band formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2014.

The band lineup includes Luke Olson as the lead singer, Walter Kosner as the lead guitarist, MJ Tirabassi as the rhythm guitarist/vocalist, Danny Wells as the bassist, and Charlie Ekhaus as the drummer. They embarked on their first nationwide tour in 2017 and had previously released three EPs.

In late 2021, the song "I Love You So" from their EP 'Songs for Dads' gained popularity on TikTok, accumulating nearly 4 million on-demand streams in the United States. On November 3, 2021, the band announced their reunion and signing with Warner Records, along with a three-show tour that took place until December. Luke Olson stated in an interview with Variety that the band had been considering the idea of reuniting and the success of "I Love You So" officially brought them back together. The sleeper hit reached the charts in multiple countries and global charts throughout 2021 and 2022, and the band performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 28, 2022.
