이루는 대한민국의 가수이자 배우로, 본명은 조성현이며 앤드류 조(Andrew Cho)로도 알려져 있습니다. 1983년 7월 5일에 미국 뉴욕 주에서 태어났으며, 현재 40세입니다. 그의 가족 구성원으로는 아버지인 태진아, 어머니인 이옥형, 작은아버지인 조방원이 있습니다. 또한 이부형으로 조유명이 있습니다.
미국의 버클리 음악대학에서 성악과를 전공하다가 중퇴하고, 단국대학교 공연영화학부에서 학사학위를 받았습니다. 2005년에 정규 1집 앨범 'Begin to Breathe'로 가수로서 정식 데뷔하였으며, 소속사는 이루 엔터테인먼트입니다.
그의 음악 활동은 '까만안경'과 '흰눈' 등의 히트곡을 통해 시작되었고, 특히 인도네시아에서 한류의 중심으로 떠오르게 되었습니다. 이후 인도네시아에서의 활동이 두드러지게 됐으며, 히트곡인 '까만안경'을 인도네시아 영화에 넣어 OST로 사용한 것이 인도네시아에서의 인지도를 높였습니다.

Eu-ri is a South Korean singer and actor who is also known by his real name, Cho Sung-hyun, and Andrew Cho. Born on July 5, 1983, in the U.S. state of New York, he is now 40 years old. His family members include his father, Tae Jin-ah, his mother, Lee Ok-hyung, and uncle, Cho Bang-won. He also has a father, Jo Yu-myeong, by his stepbrother.
Eu-ri dropped out after majoring in vocal music at Berkeley School of Music in the U.S. and received a bachelor's degree from the Department of Performance and Film at Dankook University. Eu made his official debut as a singer with his first full-length album "Begin to Breathe" in 2005, and his agency is Eu-ru Entertainment.
His musical career began through hit songs such as "Black Glasses" and "White Snow" and has emerged as the center of the Korean Wave, especially in Indonesia. Since then, his activities in Indonesia have become prominent, and his use of the hit song "Black Glasses" as an OST in an Indonesian film has raised his recognition in Indonesia.
He is active in acting as well as music, and has appeared in dramas and movies. He has pulled off a variety of characters in various works.
