청소년 시절에는 피아노와 재즈 음악을 연습하며 로큰롤을 주로 연주하는 보컬 그룹 "논스톱"의 드럼 주자로 미8군 부대 전용 클럽 무대에서 활약했습니다. 이때 김수희와 함께 활동하며 음악 활동을 시작한 심수봉은 음악에 대한 열정을 지속적으로 키워나갔습니다.

학업과 음악 활동을 병행하던 그는 서울은로국민학교와 인천 인화여자고등학교에서 공부하였고, 1973년에 졸업했습니다. 그러나 고등학교 시절에도 어머니의 치료를 위해 휴학을 하였습니다.

실제로 신고된 출생년도보다 5세가 줄어든 나이로 출생 신고되어 있었으며, 이것은 그의 음악 경력을 시작하기 위해 나이를 낮춘 것으로 알려져 있습니다.

그의 음악 경력은 1976년에 남산 도쿄호텔 23층 스카이라운지에서 피아노를 치며 아르바이트를 하던 중, 가수 나훈아와의 우연한 만남으로 시작되었습니다. 나훈아는 그의 노래를 듣고 그의 음악 재능에 감동을 받아 데뷔를 권유했고, 이어서 심수봉은 1976년 신세기 레코드와 계약을 맺고 녹음에 들어갔습니다. 하지만 음반사와의 분쟁으로 음반 발매가 취소되었고, 그는 명지대학교 경영학과에 입학했습니다.

1978년, 대학생 자격으로 MBC 대학가요제에 참가하면서 자신이 직접 작곡하고 작사한 노래 "그때 그 사람"을 부르며 주목을 받았습니다. 이것은 트로트 장르로 출전한 첫 번째 경험이었으며, 이로써 음악계에 발을 디뎠습니다.

이후 심수봉은 음반사 지구레코드와 계약을 맺고, "그때 그 사람"을 타이틀로 한 첫 번째 정식 앨범을 1979년에 발표했습니다. 이로써 그는 대중들에게 자신의 음악을 소개하고 큰 인기를 얻게 되었습니다.

Shim Su-bong is a South Korean singer whose musical career is rich and full of special stories. Let me briefly introduce his musical journey.

Shim was born on Aug. 28, 1955, and grew up in a family full of musicians. There were many musicians in his family, including great-grandparents, uncles, uncles, fathers, and aunts, and he became interested in music from an early age.

As a teenager, he was a drummer for the vocal group "Nonstop", who practiced piano and jazz music and mainly played rock and roll, playing on the club stage dedicated to the U.S. Eighth Army. Shim Soo-bong, who started his musical career with Kim Soo-hee, continued to develop his passion for music.

He studied at Eunro Elementary School in Seoul and Inhwa Girls' High School in Incheon, and graduated in 1973. However, I took a leave of absence for my mother's treatment in high school.

In fact, he was registered at the age of five years less than the year of his birth, which is known to have lowered his age to start his music career.

His music career began in 1976 with an accidental meeting with singer Na Hoon-ah while working part-time while playing the piano at the Sky Lounge on the 23rd floor of the Namsan Tokyo Hotel. Na Hoon-ah was moved by his musical talent when he heard his song and recommended his debut, followed by Shim Su-bong, who signed with Shinsegi Records in 1976 to record. However, the album was canceled due to a dispute with the record label, and he entered Myongji University's business department.

In 1978, while participating in the MBC College Song Festival as a college student, he gained attention by singing "The Person Then," a song he wrote and wrote himself. This was his first experience in the trot genre, and he entered the music industry.

Shim then signed with record label Earth Records and released his first full album in 1979 titled "The Person Then." This allowed him to introduce his music to the public and become very popular.

Shim Soo-bong has contributed greatly to the Korean music industry through his music career, and his music is loved in various genres such as K-pop, Korean trot, K-pop, and so on.
