"젝스키스"는 대한민국의 4인조 남성 그룹으로, 독일어로 "6개의 수정"을 의미합니다. 그들은 1997년 4월 15일에 쇼 뮤직탱크의 "학원별곡"으로 데뷔하였습니다. 초기에는 6명의 멤버로 DSP미디어 소속으로 활동했으며, 2000년 5월 20일에 드림 콘서트 공연을 통해 공식 해체되었습니다. 그러나 2016년 5월 11일, YG 엔터테인먼트와 5명(은지원, 이재진, 김재덕, 강성훈, 장수원)이 전속계약을 체결하고 16년 만에 가요계에 완전히 컴백하게 되었습니다.

젝스키스의 음악 활동은 해체 이후에도 각 멤버가 다양한 분야에서 활발하게 이어졌습니다. 이제 각 멤버의 활동을 자세히 살펴보겠습니다.

은지원:
은지원은 해체 이후 가장 성공적인 솔로 활동과 예능 활동을 지속하고 있습니다. 처음에는 G-Production이라는 자회사를 세워 음반을 발매했으며, 음악 스타일은 1집에서는 댄스 중심이었고, 2집부터는 힙합으로의 전환을 시작했습니다. 3집부터는 드렁큰 타이거와 함께 활동하며 대중적으로 성공을 거둔 타이틀곡 '만취 in melody'를 발표했습니다. 또한, 예능 프로그램인 '1박 2일'에서 은초딩 캐릭터로 활약하여 '신서유기'와 같은 예능 프로그램에서도 큰 인기를 얻었으며, 힙합 트리오 클로버로 활동하면서 가요계에서도 활발하게 활동하고 있습니다.

김재덕:
김재덕은 해체 이후 토니 안이 운영하는 티엔네이션에서 음반 제작 부서의 프로듀서로 활동을 이어갔습니다. 또한, 동아TV 맛집남 시즌1에서 김재덕과 토니 안이 공동 MC를 맡으며 브로맨스를 과시했습니다.

장수원:
장수원은 J-Walk라는 그룹을 결성하여 활동하고 있으며, 잔잔한 발라드와 미디움 템포 등의 장르로 활동하고 있습니다. 그의 중저음 톤은 젝스키스 활동 시보다 발전한 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한, 예능 프로그램 '부부 클리닉 사랑과 전쟁 2'의 아이돌 특집 3편에서 복귀하며 발연기의 전설이 되었고, '미생물'에도 출연하여 활발한 방송 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.

이재진:
이재진은 해체 이후에도 솔로 활동을 이어갔으며, 다양한 댄스 곡을 발표했습니다. 그러나 군 복무 이후 병역 비리 관련 문제로 재입대 처분을 받은 적이 있습니다. 이후, 일본 유학을 위해 일본어를 공부하며 자신의 전공인 그림 분야로 나아가고 싶다는 의지를 밝혔고, 대학에서 미술을 공부한 바 있다고 알려져 있습니다.

고지용:
고지용은 해체 이후 인터넷 방송 DJ와 연기자 데뷔를 준비하다가 2001년에 사실상 연예계에서 물러났습니다. 그 후 미국으로 유학을 떠나고 한국으로 돌아와 사업을 하고 있다고 알려져 있습니다. 2013년 11월에 의사 허양임과 결혼하고 2014년 10월에 아들 승재를 얻었습니다.

강성훈:
강성훈은 해체 이후 발라드 가수로 선회하여 4장의 음반을 발표하며 2004년까지 솔로 활동을 지속했습니다. 그의 곡들 중 "My Girl"과 "아껴둔 이야기"는 사랑받았습니다. 그러나 병역 비리와 사기 혐의로 피소되는 등 우여곡절도 겪었으며 이미지에도 타격을 입었습니다. 이후 2016년에 젝스키스로 컴백하고 무한도전에 출연할 수 있었습니다.

"Sechs Kies" is a South Korean four-member boy group that means "six corrections" in German. They made their debut on April 15, 1997, with "Academy Star" by Show Music Tank. Initially, he was a member of DSP Media with six members, and was officially disbanded on May 20, 2000 through a dream concert performance. However, on May 11, 2016, five people (Eun Ji-won, Lee Jae-jin, Kim Jae-deok, Kang Sung-hoon, and Jang Su-won) signed exclusive contracts and made a full comeback in the music industry after 16 years.

Kim Jae-deok:

Jangsuwon:
Jang Su-won has formed a group called J-Walk and is active in genres such as calm ballads and medium tempos. His mid-to-low tone is known to be more advanced than during Sechs Kies activity. Lee Jae-jin:
Lee Jae-jin continued his solo career after dissolution and released various dance songs. However, after serving in the military, he was re-disposed for military service corruption-related issues. Notification:
Ko had been preparing for his debut as a DJ and actor on the Internet since his disbandment, but he effectively stepped down from the entertainment industry in 2001. After that, I went to the U.S. to study and came back to Korea to do business. In November 2013, he married doctor Heo Yang - im and he got a son seung - jae in October 2014.

Kang Sung-hoon:
After the breakup, Kang turned to a ballad singer and released four albums, continuing his solo career until 2004. However, he suffered ups and downs, including being accused of military service corruption and fraud, and his image was also hurt. Later in 2016, he made a comeback with Sechs Kies and was able to appear on Infinite Challenge.
