2020년 4월 2일, 전라남도 완도군 노화읍 방서리에 위치한 죽굴도에서는 삼시세끼 어촌편 5의 촬영을 위한 준비가 진행되던 중 엄청난 화재 사건이 발생했었습니다. 이곳이 삼시세끼의 찍는 촬영지로 선정된 것은 매우 특별한 일이었는데, 그만큼 자연 경관과 조용한 환경이 매력적이었기 때문입니다.
그러나 촬영을 위해 도착한 제작진은 쓰레기로 인해 오염된 죽굴도의 상황에 경악했습니다. 이에 업체를 불러 청소를 의뢰했지만, 이 업체가 폐기물을 무단으로 소각하다가 화재가 발생하게 되었습니다. 다행히 인명 피해는 없었지만, 자연과 생태계에는 큰 피해가 발생하였습니다.
이에 대처하기 위해 제작진은 빠르게 대응했습니다. 나 PD는 책임을 지고 자연을 되돌리기 위한 노력을 약속하며, 주민들의 만족을 위해 최선을 다하겠다고 밝혔습니다. 완도군청, 산림조합, 산림청 등과 협력하여 산림 복원에 나서기로 했었습니다.
삼시세끼 제작진은 또한 자막을 통해 자연을 되돌리는 데에는 한계가 있을지라도 최선을 다할 것이며, 산불 진압에 도움을 준 관련 단체 및 주민들에게 감사의 인사를 전했습니다. 특히 촬영을 허락해준 죽굴도 주민들에게도 감사의 말씀을 전하며, 이번 사건을 통해 더욱 더 자연을 소중히 여기고 보호해야 한다는 인식을 공유하고자 합니다.

In order to cope with this, the production team responded quickly. Producer Na promised to take responsibility and return nature, and said that she would do her best to satisfy the residents. We decided to work with Wando County Office, the Korea Forest Service, and others to restore the forest.
In addition, the production team of Three Meals a Day will do their best to return nature, even if there are limitations, and thanked related organizations and residents for helping to suppress wildfires in the caption. In particular, we would like to thank the residents of Jukgul Island for allowing us to film, and we would like to share the recognition that we need to cherish and protect nature even more through this incident.
