Lee Yeon-sil (English: Lee Yeon-sil) is a South Korean folk song singer and songwriter, born on Aug. 6, 1950, in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province. Lee Yeon-sil's family includes her husband and children. After graduating from Hongik University College of Art, she was good at composing and writing music as well as performing as a folk singer, and her music was characterized by a strong, clear, and clear tone.

In 1971, she made her debut with "New Saek Poem Married" and "A Quiet Woman," and her music became one of the leading female singers of folk songs in Korea. When she was a student at Hongik University's School of the Arts, she had a great passion for music, so she went down to Daegu and even lived in a coffee shop.

However, in the mid-90s, she gave up her singing career and disappeared when she divorced her husband due to family discord and grief over the loss of a child. Since then, her recent status has not been known at all, although she may have occasionally appeared at concerts such as 7080 and so on. Until a few years ago, witnesses were heard in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, but no one is known to have met or seen her. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
