러브홀릭스는 2003년 이재학, 강현민, 지선(본명: 황지선)이라는 멤버로 데뷔한 대한민국의 모던 록 밴드입니다. 이들은 이미 많은 히트곡을 소유하고 있던 작곡가 두 명과 보컬리스트로 구성되었으며, 특이한 점은 밴드 형식을 취한 것입니다.

그 당시 밴드의 중심은 강현민 이었습니다. 위저드의 리더 지선은 홍대 인디밴드인로 알려져 있었고, 보라 마녀라는 별명으로 알려진 가수 지망생이었습니다. 지선은 DAUM의 공개 오디션에서 600:1의 경쟁률을 뚫고 러브홀릭스로 선발되었습니다. 오디션 당시 지선이 부른 노래는 나탈리 임부르글리아(Natalie Imbruglia)의 "Torn"이었습니다.

흥미로운 사실로는 러브홀릭스가 한 번 공중파 드라마에 출연한 적이 있는데, MBC 베스트극장의 라는 단막극이었습니다. 이 당시에는 그룹이 2집 활동을 하던 시기였는데, 드라마 제목에 러브홀릭스라는 이름이 들어가 있어서 특별 출연한 것으로 보입니다. 나오는 컷은 달랑 2컷이지만, 드라마 속 무대에서 당시 신곡인 "Sky"를 열창하는 장면이 포함되어 있습니다.

보컬 지선이 그룹을 떠난 후, 2008년 11월 25일부터 리더 강현민과 베이시스트 이재학은 토이와 015B와 비슷한 방식으로 스튜디오 뮤지션과 협업하는 형태의 러브홀릭스로 재출발했습니다. 그들은 2009년 9월 10일에는 16명의 객원 보컬이 참여한 첫 번째 정규 음반이자 마지막 앨범인 "In the Air"를 발매했습니다. 하지만 그 이후로는 활동이 없었고, 2012년 9월 강현민이 소속사와의 계약이 만료되면서 그룹은 사실상 해체되었습니다. 이후로는 러브홀릭스로서의 활동은 없었습니다. 그들은 보컬 지선의 탈퇴 후에 새로운 형식으로 활동을 시작했지만, 그동안의 성공과 활약을 이어나가지 못하였습니다. 그렇지만 그들은 한때 많은 사랑을 받았고, 달콤하고 모던한 음악으로 다양한 영화, 드라마, 광고 등에서 인기를 얻었습니다.

Love Hollix is a South Korean modern rock band that debuted in 2003 with members Lee Jae-hak, Kang Hyun-min, and Jisun (real name: Hwang Ji-sun). They consisted of two composers and vocalists who already had many hits, and what was unusual was that they took the form of a band.

At that time, the center of the band was Kang Hyun-min. The Wizard's leader, Jisun, was known as an indie band in Hongdae, and was an aspiring singer known by the nickname Bora Witch. Jisun was selected as a loveholic in DAUM's open audition, breaking through a 600:1 competition ratio. At the time of the audition, Jisun sang "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia.

An interesting fact is that Love Holix once appeared in a public TV drama, and it was a one-act play called MBC Best Theater. At this time, the group was active in its second album, and it seems that it appeared as a special appearance because the title of the drama includes the name Love Holix. The cut that comes out is a two-cut one, but it includes a scene where you sing your new song "Sky" passionately on stage in the drama.

After vocalist Jisun left the group, from November 25, 2008, leader Kang Hyun-min and bassist Lee Jae-hak restarted as a loveholic in the form of collaborating with studio musicians in a similar way to Toy and 015B. They released their first full - length album and final album, "In the Air", featuring 16 guest vocals on September 10, 2009. However, there has been no activity since then, and the group was virtually disbanded when Kang Hyun-min's contract with his agency expired in September 2012. Since then, I haven't been active as a loveholic. They started their activities in a new format after vocalist Jisun's departure, but they did not continue their success and performance. However, they were once loved a lot and became popular in various movies, dramas, and advertisements for their sweet and modern music.

Love Hollix started with a combination of Lee Jae-hak and Kang Hyun-min, and was a three-member band with the joining of Jisun. They caught many people's ears with their unique musical style and cool vocals. However, after Jisun's departure, their musical activities became quiet, and the group eventually disbanded.
