1985년 키보드 연주자이자 작곡가인 김태원이 결성한 부활은 보컬 이승철, 베이시스트 정준영, 드러머 채정안으로 구성됐습니다. 밴드의 이름은 한국어로 "부활"을 의미하며 한국에서 록 음악을 되살리려는 그들의 열망을 반영합니다. 부활의 초기 음악은 서양 로큰롤의 영향을 많이 받았지만 가야금과 대금과 같은 한국 민속 음악과 전통 악기의 요소도 포함했습니다.

Boohwal is a South Korean rock band that has been active since the early 1980s. Along with Baekdusan

and Sinawe, they are often referred to as the "Korean Rock Band Trio" of the 1980s. Known for their fusion

of rock and traditional Korean music, Boohwal has released numerous albums over the years and has

enjoyed significant success in Korea and abroad.

Formed in 1985 by keyboardist and songwriter Kim Tae-won, Boohwal's original lineup included vocalist

Lee Seung-cheol, bassist Jeong Jun-young, and drummer Chae Jeong-an. The band's name means

"resurrection" in Korean, reflecting their desire to revive rock music in Korea. Boohwal's early music was

heavily influenced by Western rock and roll, but also incorporated elements of Korean folk music and

traditional instruments such as the gayageum and daegeum.

In the years following their debut, Boohwal experienced numerous lineup changes and released a series

of successful albums. Their 1988 release "The More I Love" was particularly well-received and features

some of the band's most popular songs, including "Never Ending Story" and "Heeya". Boohwal's music

밴드의 성공에도 불구하고 Boohwal은 수년 동안 수많은 도전에 직면했습니다. 1990년대 후반 김태원은 췌장암 진단을 받고 밴드 활동을 중단해야 했습니다. 그러나 그는 건강을 회복하고 음악으로 돌아와 Boohwal과 함께 일련의 솔로 앨범과 새로운 자료를 발표했습니다. 기타와 보컬을 담당하는 김태원을 비롯해 베이시스트 이상우, 키보드 정동하, 드러머 김태현, 보컬 허정 등 최근 몇 년간 새로운 음악을 선보이고 있습니다.

Despite the band's success, Boohwal has faced numerous challenges over the years. In the late 1990s,

Kim Tae-won was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was forced to take a hiatus from the band.

However, he recovered and returned to music, releasing a series of solo albums as well as new

material with Boohwal. In recent years, the band has continued to perform and release new music,

with a lineup that includes Kim Tae-won on guitar and vocals, bassist Lee Sang-woo, keyboardist

Jung Dong-ha, drummer Kim Tae-hyun, and vocalist Heo Ga-yoon.

Boohwal's legacy as one of the most influential rock bands in Korea is secure. Their fusion of rock

and traditional Korean music helped pave the way for future generations of Korean musicians,

and their music continues to resonate with audiences both in Korea and around the world.
