Born on December 13, 1965, Lee Seung Hwan is a prominent South Korean singer and also a prolific music producer. Hailing from Busan, his musical journey began when he moved to Seoul during his early years, igniting his passion for music. He pursued his studies in English Literature at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, which marked the beginning of his musical path.

Lee Seung Hwan's contributions to the history of popular music are remarkable. He is celebrated as the Emperor of live music in South Korea, known for his exceptional performance skills and charisma. One of his notable works is the song "물어본다" ("Asking") from his 8th studio album "Karma," released in October 2004. He wrote the lyrics, while the composition and arrangement were done by Jung Ji Chan. This song not only showcases his musical prowess but also conveys small stories and emotions, epitomizing his diverse musical spectrum.

According to Lee Seung Hwan's own account on the Hidden Singer program, "물어본다" was created during a period when Jung Ji Chan, after the failure of his first album, embarked on a journey to India. Through this song, Lee Seung Hwan demonstrated his remarkable ability to express journeys, emotions, and experiences through music.

Furthermore, Lee Seung Hwan is not only an accomplished singer but also an active music producer. He is the first South Korean singer to establish his own entertainment agency.
