Twin Folio is a Korean music group that was active in the '70s. Composed of two members, Song Chang-sik and Yun Hyung-joo, their music featured Yun's beautiful voice and Song Chang-sik's charming voice while translating the famous overseas 7080 folk song.

Twin Folio started out as a trio, but with member Lee Ik-gyun joining the military, they transformed into a duo with only two members. They were so popular that each university formed a fan club, and they were especially enthusiastically loved among college students.

Song Chang-sik and Yun Hyung-ju were musically unique and had different charms. Song had folk and more colorful musicality because he majored in vocal music at Seoul National University of Arts. Yun, on the other hand, showed musical versatility beyond pop at Yonsei University's medical school, making him speak freely and lusciously.

The activities of the Twin Folio were recognized as representative cultural phenomena of an era, and their appearance showed that a new cultural trend began in the late 60s. It energized the Korean music scene, providing a new sensibility, especially for the generation who grew up listening to pop.

Sesibong, a Korean pop music studio, was loved by many people as it opened in 1963 in Seorin-Mugyo-dong, Seoul. It was possible to enjoy the latest pop music for a small admission fee, and talented people enjoyed acoustic guitar live performances there. Through Sesibong, various artists, including Song Chang-sik, Yoon Hyung-ju, and Cho Young-nam, debuted and gained fame. Besides, it is known as a place where Yoon Yeo-jeong and Lee Sang-byeok frequently visited. However, the company closed its business in May 1969 due to the expiration of its charter contract.

Afterwards, Song Chang-sik and Yoon Hyung-joo formed Twin Folio and succeeded, while Cho Young-nam debuted as singers separately. They gained attention once again in 2009 when they appeared on MBC's Standard FM's special program "Cho Young-nam and Friends," and afterwards, they appeared in various programs to showcase their friendship. Among them were special broadcasts of "Playing with Me" and live concerts.
