芝愛 Kim Ji-ae is a great singer from South Korea. She was born in Seoul on Mar. 10, 1962. She showed outstanding musical talent from her childhood and showed her brilliant singing skills to the point where she won the grand prize by singing at KBS Children's Singing Contest in the second grade of elementary school. The birth of these future music stars has already begun since childhood.

After graduating from high school, Kim Ji-ae moved to the U.S. and began her career through a consolation performance by her compatriots. In the process, she further developed her passion for music and refined her singing skills.

After returning to Korea in 1983, he made his debut as a singer through a meeting with composer Park Chun-seok. The debut song was "Mokpo's Bours," a remake of Baek Il-hee's song, but it didn't have much success.

However, her popularity rose in 1986 when "Muleya," a song written by Geum Na-young and composed by Park Chun-seok, became a hit. Later in 1989, Jeon Young-rok's song "The Ugly Man" became a big hit with a satirical song about the military community of South Korea. The song received a lot of attention as it topped the KBS music program Top 10 for five weeks. It was a huge turning point in her music career.
